Calendar Update: Dec. 10!
The Education Board approved a change to the 2024-25 School Year Academic Calendar at their Oct. 7 meeting;
the approved, updated calendar is attached.
The change moves the SRES/ALA Early Release Day and ECEC Staff PD/No School Day from Wednesday, Dec. 11, to Tuesday, Dec. 10. This means Wednesday, Dec. 11, is a normal/full school day for all students at ECEC, SRES, and the ALA.
We are simply swapping 12/11 and 12/10.
It also means all Salt River Schools sites and programs will be closed to the public after 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 10.
The change allows all Salt River Schools staff to attend the SRPMIC Employee Holiday Event, something Education staff have never been able to do as a group due to our important work. We appreciate the generosity of the parents who worked on the Academic Calendar Committee and the Education Board for making this possible for Salt River Schools staff.
