Very young children are active and busy. It can often be a challenge for them to relax when the time arrives to sit and listen to a story read by a teacher, librarian, or even a family member. Mrs. Yurek introduces a calming technique to use when settling down to read. It’s a technique that Daniel Tiger uses in the story Daniel Tiger Goes to the Library, read by Mrs. Yurek in this SRES Library Read Aloud.
